Pedagogical scenarios where the learner creates artififacts that then are reused for learning are not uncommon in educational technology research. The concept, however, grew out of the [http://www.collide.info/ Collide] research group led by Ulrich Hoppe at University of Duisburg. This group collaborated and led many software projects. The most well know &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;and&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; operational classroom technology systems are:&lt;br /&gt;
